CIP materials are ideal for many applications on offshore support vessels. Stern tube and rudder bearings made with CIP Composite materials are ideal for replacing rubber lined, wood products and bronze. On deck applications, such as a-frames, stern rollers and launch and recovery ROV’s benefit from using CIP materials where high loads and slow rotation or oscillation are anticipated. CIP Composite bearings eliminate the need for lubrication systems. For more information on specific applications in the marine offshore vessel support see our Marine section.
Columbia Industrial Products offer 24 hour emergency service, minimizing dock time. CIP Composites are easily machined onsite and can be freeze fitted or press fitted. Our team can provide the design calculations for interference and clearance fits.
We recommend using CIP Marine™ and CIP 252 for most marine applications. Our sales team will recommend the best material for your specific application.
